ALS/BLS Emergency ServicesCommunity Life Support provides ALS/BLS Ambulance service to communities within Lackawanna County, as well as Paramedic intercept services with volunteer service providers. ALS/BLS Inter facility ServicesCommunity Life Support provides local and long distance ALS/BLS inpatient transports for hospitals and nursing homes for referrals, diagnostic testing, and evaluation. Community Life Support provides specialty care transportation for patients who require care above standard ALS. This includes ventilator dependent patients. In addition to special care transports, Community Life Support has a dedicated Neonatal Mobile Intensive Care Unit, and in cooperation with Community Medical Center's N.I.C.U. provides state-of-the-art medical care to critically ill or premature infants. Community Life Support has partnered with Trans-Med Ambulance of Wilkes Barre to provide this service to Lackawanna County for patients requiring transport but do not meet the criteria for ambulance transportation. Event Stand-by ServicesCommunity Life Support provides ambulance stand-by services for various community events, to provide on-site care and transport during sporting and charity events.
